Tarp door styles?

Yes before the 12x14 hot tarp. I made a hot vestibule for a standard 12x10 tarp that had 1 set of std doors and this...
Notice the string on the far end of blk tarp its to determine the depth and dimensions of the vestibule.
I can give you those measurement if you think it will help.
I hope I am not coming off like some kind of gods gift to tarps? Cause I'm not.
Just tossing out what I have been doing in the back yard and hoping it will help.

How far past the end of your tarp does your hot beak extent? A foot?

Makes sense. Do you find the need for anything other than overlap for door closure, i.e. velcro?

For my vestibules I sewed the doors closed for safety around the stove in wind.
On my grizzbeak in vestibule mode I just tie at the bottom and stake out. Straight on wind is blocked by the tree.
Side wind pushes one side against the other keeping it closed.

Every tarp is cut a little different and you should find your favorite pitch angle then you can use string to get the perfect vestibule dimensions.

Hi Scotty I've been watching your winging it DIY projects. I think they have turned out great.
