    Forum Suggestion

How about adding a feature to allow people to customize what shows on their home page? I'd love to put the "Mark All Forums Read" link back on my own version of the HF page, and remove all the extra clutter that I rarely look at. Leave the default skin the same, but allow for a "UL" skin, or variables in between. I know you can contract items, but I don't need to see the "become a donating member" or "google user map" or even the "search" link every time I log in. I would think a "UL" skin option would be nice for Blackberry or iPhone users as well.

I'm working on an idea for a re-arrangement of the navbar, so that attroll is less likely to 'mis-click' the 'Mark Read' button.

The ul-skin is one I hadn't considered though.

I would think that might be easier, in some respects. I think it is the iPhone and Blackberry users who have the most issues with the 'Mark Read' button. I know Grizz mentioned that this weekend, as well. An option for a "Clean Skin" that you could add the modules/forums that you wanted to track would be the "bees knees."

Yes, HF is difficult to surf on an iPhone for those of us with Stubby Finger Syndrome.

Takes less time to start clean or from nothing for some tasks. This may be one of those times. I like the "clean skin" or "UL" skin for mobile users.

Hey, don't put me in the spotlight. If everyone wants the "Mark All Forums Read" back we can put it back.

Yes, it's all on you. And Grizz. And Shrek. And Cannibal. And any other mobile user whose stubby little fingers wandered over that "Mark all forums read" link by mistake. Those of us stuck in offices, surfing on our desktops don't seem to have your issues.

Hey! I work hard to find a strong enough signal, while in the woods, to check the latest posts. Plus, I can't help having fat fingers.

    It ain't easy bein' green.
