Thanatos is the Greek god of Death, and a character in the Piers Anthony series "Incarnations of Immortality". I have been, in the past, a funeral director. I hope that I was a compassionate one (as was the book character).

The "8877" is a play on my service number. Combined, the two make a killer name that has never been "taken" on any other board of any other type. Basically, if you see "thanatos8877" anywhere on the internet, it is almost certainly me.

I always thought your name read: "Yeah I'd ID that", like you were some weird "Night at the Roxbury" club kind of guy that was very conscientious about ensuring the age of the young ladies you met.

"Yeah I did that" is much better

G2Outdoors = Greg Godfrey (2 "G"s in my name) and I like to be outside. Pretty straightforward.

I used to mountain bike a lot and went by "dirty" online, particularly when playing video games. Then I got to my mid-thirties and was teaching and it didn't sound right any more so I switched to Clean. I'm a graphic designer so the clean thing makes sense in a minimalist way. Clean makes less sense in this context but oh well.

Lamboy is derived from my last name which means lamb and I used it when I was a kid as a screen name for online gaming. It kind of stuck and have gone from there.

JP is my initials, jp_dog was my first email address, first internet handle when i was a kid and thought we invented the "what's up dog?" phrase . I tried setting up a HF account with a more commonly used name, but tapatalk screwed me over and my name is in the database but the account is incomplete, so I used the old standby

I use stealth17 because I am an avid sit-on-top motorized fishing kayak which makes me be perfectly stealth on the freshwater I fish here in Washington state. As for 17, it is my favorite number, the day in April I was born and my complete name is comprised of 17 letters.

I have just upgraded to a new Warbonnet Blackbird 1.7 Double XLC with a Superfly tarp, top quilt Burrow 0 degree and an Incubator 20 degree under quilt from HammockGear.com. This new change will provide more comfort to go deeper into the winter outdoors I have been studying and planing for myself. Shug has been very instrumental peaking my interest as I too love to be alone when fishing so I am thinking it will work with winter hanging trips.

I could say something really cool, like:
"I have 49,426 Facebook friends named Brad".

Or, I could just tell the boring truth and say:
"It is a combination of my first name and Zip Code".
I've gone to find myself. If I get back before I return, make sure I stay here.

When I see lovers' names carved into a tree, I don't think it's cute. I think it's strange how so many people take knives on a date.

I tend to be an organizer, so when I needed a moniker for a 200 mile run that a few of us did together (and I coordinated), they called me "CaptainCoupal".
