I went camping this past weekend. It was a Boy Scout OA event. Friday night reached 22 degrees F. I missed seeing what Sat. night's low was. Both night's I slept toasty. Sat. night I had to much on and had to come out of some clothes and my socks. Sure was a shocker when getting up to go from toasty to brrrrrr cold when I got up the next morning. I used my Underground UQ and my homemade TQ. I also had my silk sheet that draped over the inside ridgeline to trap moisture from my breathing. It was soaked the next morning.
New Underground quilt worked and kept me toasty and that's how I want to sleep. I don't want to just have enough insulation that I survive, I want to enjoy that night's sleep and wake up refreshed and ready to go.

I'm sure you can compress it down small but it looks huge...

Yes, it is huge and Yes, it will go into it's stuff sack. When the sack is layed out flat, it measures about 14"x11". With the quilt in this stuff sack it would go even smaller if I used compression straps on the bag.

This quilt came with a stuff sack and a storage sack. This weekend I put this quilt and my 0degree TQ into the storage sack. Then I compressed the ends and got it into my tote that I use for scout trips. It was impressive to see those two quilts come out of one sack.

WOW! 21oz of down in a 60" quilt! That would take me down to like -30! That thing has gotta be like sleeping on a cloud.

    Looks great!

Glad it's doing its job for you, I know you've had problems in the past with getting cold so we might have gone a little overboard with 21 oz but as long as it works for you then it works for me... Thanks again...

I think for most people it would get them well below -10*... I'm pretty sure it would work into the -20* for me... Imagine 21 oz 850FP....

I have to say, I have exchanged e-mails with Paul about an order and he has been great to deal with. Another great vendor! I look forward to getting mine.
