There is a nice side benefit to this mentality. I spend less money because counting every gram and assigning value to items is much like counting every penny and deciding if something is worth it.

Yep! You got it bad. But heck it'sfun trying to figure out lighter ways to do things. And as Skistrees say's if nothing else atleast your wallet won't be weighing you down.
