    Driducks Question

Hey guys I have a question related to buying a Driducks poncho with the weather shield mod. Is the cost the $12.95 Plus the $25. 90??

Or is it just $25.90 and you have to select the 12 buck optionj above to show your colour preference?

Secondly how have people found it goes on a wbbb and or a claytor jungle?

    Thanks

    Dave

The cost for it is $12.95 for the poncho itself, and then another $25.90 for the weather shield mod applied by the Jack's!
I can't speak for whether it will fit the WBBB, but I have one and it fit's my HH perfectly, there is a lot of room for adjustment in the poncho weather shield and the two side tie out attachment point's are brought together to make one attachment point for the HH asym hammock tie out!
You could email the Jack's and ask, they are pretty quick to respond (at least they have been for me) and they are very nice and helpful!
The only problem that I have found with the poncho is the hood, it's very big, and I have a small head, so when it's tightened up it kind of fit's funny, but I love it anyway, and works great!!!!

Hey guys thanks for the advice.
Just checked pricing and it is gonna cost me $69 USD to buy one and get it shipped to Aus.

I think I will make one as the ripstop will cost me about $21 usd!
I think I will have to put up with extra weight!

Ripstop won't weigh that much different than the poncho. You'll want to treat it with a DWR. If you can get Pertex Down under, you might look at that option. I have a weather shield made from that, and it works pretty well.

    Ok I'm BACK
what is this mod all about?
Separate attachments to make it a undercover?
Mods to a poncho to use it alone as a undercover?

Cranky please tell us more about this mod.
Pics of you wearing the poncho will be appreciated...we just want to see your small head....
    hahahaha

Really I am lost as to what this is....
Probably real simple and everyone knows what this is....
    sigh....alone again....

    TOB9595,

From my understanding with the JRB mod it turns the Driducks Poncho into both and undercover as well as a bivy. If you scroll down to the bottom of this page you can see some photos of it being used as a undercover and bivy but not a poncho.

I think it still is. The photo with the bivy setup shows the head opening. However I don't have one so I can't confirm. But it does look like a nice item with at least two good uses.
