Any guess what these are for?

If you guessed "endless loops for 17 Scout hammocks", you were exactly right. Ready and waiting on a large order of cinch buckles from Dutch!!!!

Be sure to wrap the continuous loops around the cinch buckles enough times to fill the space and keep them centered as the middle one in the photo is done.

According to your pic, which do you prefer? I'm thinking about the on the left, just looks more stable.

I made what may have been an incorrect assumption that the continuous loops were finished which would only allow the use of the middle method.

If the rope has only been cut and not yet spliced, then you can use the left method for which you wrap the cinch prior to splicing.

No, not finished yet, I'm gonna let the boys do their own splicing. I use whoopies and toggles so this "cinch buckle" stuff is new to me.

The Left and middle chinch buckles are the same and are the easiest to use (Can get them from Readystraps or Dutch). The Cinch buckle on the far right is the lightest of the two but is harder to adjust.
I am still 18 but with 52 years of experience !

Sorry for the confusion but I've already ordered the buckles from Dutch, I was referring to how the continuous loops were wrapped on the buckle.

The left method will work well for them.
