I have watched Eric's video and read several other accounts of using the climashield for an UQ. Is it necessary to sew it to one or both panels (top and bottom ripstop)? I was thinking of just sewing all the channels and top and bottom together and sliding in the Climashield and using quilting yarn to quilt it. Say 3-4" in from each edge and then on 8-10" spacing to keep it from bunching? It sounds sound anyone ever try it? It seem like it would just be way easier on the sewing and leave only one end to finish. Any thoughts? I was thinking you could always rip the one end open and add more climashield and only have to re quilt it. Small job compared to a whole new quilt.
