    WBBB original suspension and knots

I now have two WBBB's. My first I replaced the original suspension with a UCR. I just purchased a new WBBB and ordered it with the line-strap suspension. I'd like to keep it as is. For those of you who are using the original WBBB line-strap suspension, what technique, knot, lashing, etc are you using to connect the line to the strap?

I have the original strap on my WBBB and have done nothing to it other than wrap the strap around the tree and use a biner, or nacrabiner, to clip the loop to the strap itself. Perhaps I do not understand the question.

Many ideas on line and strap connection from Grizz's videos here and here. My favorite is at 1:50 in the second video. Uses a descender ring and has a great deal of adjustability. I used it for a couple months and it worked great. I used with the stock line and strap so I didn't use the marlinspike as illustrated in the video, just through the metal triangle.

I used the tree strap with rope combination for a while. I had great success with Brandon's suggestion of using the slipped buntline hitch for the rope.

I replaced that with Whoopie Slings.

That looks like something worth a try. Thx!
