[Video] Three Days in McSnorterson's Valley...

    Hi all!
I recently got back from three days in what I've dubbed "McSnorterson's Valley". It was great to get out and spend some quality time in the hammock in a beautiful setting... Hope it isn't too long before I can start hitting some trails and really test my system....

Hope you guys enjoy coming along! Also, be easy on me as this is my first trip recording any video...

Looks like a great time in the piney woods! Thanks for sharing the trip. Juggling too!

Nice job! Glad "Snorty" didn't bother you much more! Did you ever go look for his tracks for an ID?

Thanks for taking us along, and great job for a first vid report!

Thanks! I didn't really think too much about it the first night as it was only a few seconds... I'm thinking it was just a deer who was all flustered we were in it's grazing spot or something... The second night it went on all night and added in sounds of ground pounding and false charging at my tarp... I haven't heard of deer doing false charges before but I'm sure it's happened before... We did find scratches on a tree nearby that's usually equated to bears... I meant to try to find tracks the last morning but got sidetracked breaking camp (i.e. Lollygagging...) There were little bones around the area and the scat we saw on day one had some berry seeds and stuff in it but it rained the day before making a positive ID for it out of my capabilities... There was also a spot about 20 yards from camp where something (deer) had bedded down for the night... I'm thinking it was most likely a deer, possibly a bear, or maybe even bigfoot!

A VERY relaxed time! It sure is hard to get motivated, once the hammock goes up. All plans and things to do, go on hold. It’s kind of, sort of, a bit of a hammock camping problem, that no one really wants to solve. Thanks for the trip report, SkidvonArk!
