So, I love my whoopies, but I made the adjustable loop quite long. So, when I find two trees close to each other, the loose ends of the whoopies are like 15 feet long. I know I can wrap them around the tree or whatever to get them out of the way, but does anyone have an ingenious solution to storing them?

Make 2 very small stuffsacks and connect them with a mitten hook.
I just hank them figure 8 style on my hand and leave about a foot to wrap it all together. I can do it in about 10 seconds. Not ingenious but simple and effective.
I have in the past attached a hair elastic to the end of the adjustable line that way when you roll it up, you get to the end the elastic is right there. The way I attached it was I fed the end of the amsteel through the elastic before burying it.
Don't let life get in the way of living.
I use a little velcro cable ties and this works great for me.

+ 1 for Bubba's figure-8 wrap. I have a small bungee loop shackle (aka Nacrabiner) permanently attached to the very end, so after doing the figure-8 wrap I secure it with the elastic loop shackle. The advantage of this is that I can pull out more line if I want to make the whoopie loop longer, and the elastic still remains tight on the remaining figure-8 loops. I usually don't need to undo the whole wrap and redo it when I first set up the hammock.
+1 this... and what size pack do you have to get the 8' ladder into the woods to reach high enough in the trees to take advantage of that long of sling to maintain a 30* suspension angle.Or am I missing something....need some more coffee

I'm liking the figure 8 or the velcro... With either, I should be able to use it to secure the adj. loop to the marlin hitch on any wide hangs.

....lol on the comments about my whoopies being too long. I know. I based the length off a video that started with 18' cord. I did end up just cutting one today... Not so much because of the length, but I fubared the fixed eye splice and was afraid it wouldn't hold (4-5 inch bury).
In any case, maybe I'll be able to hang in the sahara this way. I can hang in saraha, right?

If the only trees you can hang from are 25' or more apart, then you need that length, but you will need a structural ridgeline (not a ladder) and some ingenuity and caution to get your suspension safely tight enough to keep you off the ground. Better plan on having a good marlinspike hitch with a nice smooth toggle or you won't be able to take your rig down in the morning.
If you have found yourself in places where you really need long whoopies, keep them, but you would probably do better to cut off the excess.
