Bamboo Hiking Poles

Where do you get the cork handles at? The swhinn look comfy.

Amazon has them, I was gonna check out the bike shop around the corner. The Schwinns are comfy but cork would be lighter.

Here's a hiking pole I made this weekend just to try out the idea. I like it! Lightweight, sturdy, natural. Gonna have to whip up a second one.

I had some scraps of suede leather, so I used several layers to make a soft yet grippy grip. The wrist strap is three lengths of paracord braided together and then drilled thru the shaft and cemented inside the grip leather.
