After talking sewing machines this weekend, I am going today to get a "Mossy Oak" decal and cover the "Singer" lettering, then it will be official 'Man Gear"
It took me a while to figure out what a "thread injector " was! I was wondering if I screwed up buying a sewing machine, when could have bought a highpowered, manly machine instead. I guess its all in the name! I tell people that sewing is kind of like welding, or doing sheet metal work! I like the sticker idea--I may need to do some decorating of my machine. Kind of like a friend of mine at work who has a Toyota Yaris (with its powerful 1.3 litre engine)---he put a bumper sticker on the back that says "yeah, its got a hemi!"----------maybe Ill put one on my "thread injector"!
FYI: If you want to know what type a certain bear is, sneak up behind it and kick it. Then,
run like crazy and climb up a tree. If the bear climbs the tree and eats you, it's a black
bear. If the bear just pushes the tree over and eats you, it's a grizzly bear : )
Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me, either, just leave me alone.

I've got an older Elna (Swiss) machine. My son thought I was nuts when he saw me sewing until I removed the covers and let him watch the inner workings.
Take one look and the words that come to mind are, "Now that's a machine!"
My Boy Scouts are jealous that I can make my own stuff. I've almost got them hooked!
