did you follow the examples shown in some of the threads here or chart a new course of action? I'd be interested in pics of your set-up, or a reference to an existing one.
Thanks,

Cool. What kind of webbing are you using Neo?
I think you might like the green woodland camo webbing from here www.owfinc.com/Hardware/Shardware/webbing.asp
Polyester,2000lb rated,little or no stretch.$7.28 for 24'
Weighs about the same as Speer 1" poly

its simple 2 alumnium desending rings at each end and 6 ft of 5 mil.line doubled at each end and 10ft webbing at each end neo
I'd say to anyone who's considering switching to the buckles to purchase both the ring buckles and cinch buckles and decide which you like the best. Or use both. I prefer cinch buckles but the rings always worked perfectly for me.

thanks bud...I understand from what I've read that Poly is the way to go...but my question is why not nylon...Does the Nylon strech so much that it becomes innsufficient as a suspesion webbing? I ask this because of the 1 1/2" webbing I recently bought from the hardware store...I dont know what type of webbing it is...But I know I got slippage when I used the 1 1/2" rings with it but when I went to 1" rings it no longer slipped through them.
