I'm in!! Any weekend,,, with a little notice. I know a few good spots for 4x4s and adventure bikes but I am up for most anywhere.

With enough notice, I'd drive up from Oregon for a weekend to see some more of the beautiful country you have up there in BC.

Sounds like fun. Depends on time, location, and drive distance.

I may be up for a hang, provided it is not too far up north. I can drive up from Seattle.

I'd be in. Coming from Seattle.

The "best" way to plan a hang is just to set the date, and then if people make it, they make it. If they don't, they don't.
I miss my 4.8Lb base weight as a ground dweller...But I sure DON'T MISS the ground.

Well, I would say February or later and I'd prefer Bellingham, WA or that area (due in part to several from Washington State wanting to attend). However, considering that it's a Canada hang, you guys may have to pick the location. Somewhere closer to the border if possible, somewhere relatively easy to find, somewhere with a great location/view/experience and somewhere relatively inexpensive to get to.

The problem with some of the places around here are that you have to have a Forrest Pass of some kind. Mt. Baker area seems worth the drive around here, but I'm not that familiar with actual hanging locations.

I camped up at Cultus Lake when I was a kid, but I understand that it's now crowded.

Cultus lake in feb. will be fairly quiet. But it will be about the coldest place around here. It's on a big windy lake fairly hight in the hills. I was thinking Porteau cove provincial park. It's on the ocean, easy to get to and beautiful. Google it and we will go from there. I'll look into hammock rules.
    Carpe noctem!!
