    Winter Tarp Options ..

I am looking for a winter tarp for my WBBB.

    Considering: All around $130
    WB SuperFly @ 19oz
    WL Oldman Winter @ 19oz
    OES Four Season @ 19.2oz

    My question is:
Who else makes a winter/4 season tarp in that price range/weight?

AE Hard Rock & HG Cuben Fiber are more than I want to spend right now.

    Thanks !

In my opinion, the quickest tarp you will get will be a OMW from Wilderness Logics. All 3 are good tarps. I also think you will have more room in a OMW. decisions, decisons!

Do you mind elaborating on why? What features on the OMW do you like better?

Thanks yall. I had the WB Mamajamba and the quality was great, but I will try something new.

I was torn btwm the SF and OMW. Looks like I will go with the OWM.

I have not used an OES. I have used the superfly, and the old man winter. I sold the super flies I still have the old man winter. I think it is a better choice for winter storms due to the 3 tie outs per side. That said I have a hard rock ordered. Plus wilderness logics has free shipping on orders over $80 and you have more color and ridge line options. It goes with out saying my vote of the tarps you are considering is the old man winter. The others are great choices too.

i like the options the OMW offers..

ridge length, color, and that center tieout along the bottom for added stability--all mentioned above by weird.

after that, you get into tieout design, seam sealing, cost, wait time.....

and finally, its a big huge chunk of silnylon that will keep you dry- which is an attribute shared by them all

( i don't own the OMW - but it looks nice in person )
