New design prototype

Well, I'm not sure.
The prototype is heading for a week long trip on the AT in 3 weeks and I'm hoping for some valuable feedback mid-July.
I've also got a couple of new suspension ideas that might make it into version 2.
Probably a couple months away.

Well, just shoot me a pm and i will give you my address to send a tester out to, i will put it through alot of use and provide alot of feedback .
I will also not charge you anything for this service because i am a nice guy.
ps- i am over 350lbs so i need the heavy duty version.....

No plans at this time. One of these days I oughta make myself one just so I can better understand why so many folks like them.

Brilliant Randy! Both the zipper design and the peak shelf are awesome!! The only thing I would want out of this new design is to leave the foot end as it was before. I don't think I would want to vent my feet in the winter, only the head end.


It is REAL tempting... some real, real, nice, thoughtful innovation here!!!!

I agree and that's where I think I'm going with version 2 of this design. Gonna lose the foot end vent and run the zippers clear to the end.

This prototype leaves for a week long hike on the AT July 3rd.
I've already got a few changes and adjustments in mind, but I want to wait until I see how well this one works.
