    Nice quiet weekend for me.
I've got most of my stuff assembled in the camping room and it's ready to pack in the car early next week.
Found all my fishing gear, man I had to look high and low for that stuff. I had it packed everywhere.
Made my grocery list which I'll pickup Thursday morning.
All in all everything is falling into place and I am really getting excited about wetting a line and cooking up some fresh trout.

I hope I'm wrong, but by my count, it's currently just me and Food doing the North Loop?

    weather

Did a scout trip into the Cascade Creek drainage over the weekend. 43 degrees was the overnight low at 9,200. It is a cooler week ahead and we will be higher. Your kit needs to go down to freezing for the north loop.

Bugs are out in full force.

Does anyone know if there's cell phone coverage at the main campsite? I don't like to be connected on my trips, but with the fires so close to my house it's pretty important this time.

Sorry TR42, I've not been doing a very good job of keeping tabs and updating the attendance list.
With that said it sure looks like there are several opening for the North Loop hike.
As for Left Hand Res. There is no limit to the number of hangers. We have all these tree's to choose from

Most of the guys planning on spending a few days at Left Hand have reconfirmed via PM's over this past week.

JJ, When food and I were scouting/hanging @ Kelly Dahl I was able to talk to my wive from the hammock. I have Verizon.

PS- I had no service at Brainard Lake. So I would expect no service during the Blue Lake day hike Saturday.

    details

There will be no fires, not even charcoal. Only stoves will be used this weekend.

There is Verizon coverage at the campground.
