Will this work for a ridge line?

I bought thishttp://arrowheadequipment.webs.com/a...s/show/2252396 from Paul at AHE. Just wondering it is sufficient to make a continuous tarp ridge line and tie outs from. It seems so small (of course that's what I said the first time I saw amsteel). I had been using paracord. But it stretches too much. Will this stuff work? If not I'll probably just get some zing it.

It's what I used for a two-part tarp ridge line, and I don't see why it wouldn't work as a single.

I now have a Dutch edition single line ridge line from whoopieslings.com and I would highly recommend that if you want to upgrade!

I use the 1/16th inch line for all of my tarp lines on all my personal tarps. To me it's lighter, and smaller than anyother line on the market so it is the upgrade.

This was exactly what I was hoping to hear. I'm learning more and more that just because something is small that doesn't mean it can't be useful. Thanks for your replies. Love this forum. Everyone is always so helpful. Happy hanging!

The only problem I get with this stuff is that it can snag and pull/break fibres if the trees are rough. That's one of the main reasons I went with the ZingIt, which is much more slippery.

Will this work on line locks? Or is the diameter to small.
