"I fish because I love to; because I love the environs where trout are found, which are invariably beautiful... because, in a world where most men seem to spend their lives doing things they hate, my fishing is at once an endless source of delight and an act of small rebellion; because trout do not lie or cheat and cannot be bought or bribed or impressed by power, but respond only to quietude and humility and endless patience...." --Robert Traver
It's only like a 2-3 hours drive and I wanna go, but not sure if I can actually make it.
I had great fun last year. I plan to attend this year. Will probably make a new hammock. Any new attendees, just send me a message. I will gladly help you plan and get gear together.
LD Cakes - I am sorry you will not be there.
Just who all is planning to attend this soiree, anyway?
I love the unimproved works of God. - Horace Kephart
Just got word that I was approved for Thursday and Friday off, so that means I'll be there! Woot!
I may also be bringing my daughter along--not sure yet.

AS we are getting closer, it would probably be a good idea to get a rough idea: who is going, what bringing for pot luck &/or raffle, going for breakfast / lunch Sunday to Log House Restaurant & etc.
So, could someone with the skills & a computer less than 15 years old could post a spread sheet or whatever.
I'll call the Log House restaurant on Tuesday before to give them a heads up on how many will be there, usually they are slow on Sunday AM & us showing up unannounced with 20 - 30+ is a bit overwhelming. FYI, if you have always wanted to try Livermush, they have it!
When you have a backpack on, no matter where you are, you’re home.
PAIN is INEVITABLE. MISERY is OPTIONAL.

Mods,
Can we edit post #1 to get the spreadsheet link there, or should it have its own thread? Thanks.
2Q,
I will tape some ccf to the other end of my aluminum saw so your fingers don't freeze. We didn't really need it much in last year's heat wave, but this year we might get some cold weather. Two on a buck saw is nice.
