We are having a hang down here in Florida in January, the 3rd Annual Florida Hang, and there will be at least 2 TDS there. At 100 we will be atleast starting a 2nd page.
Sorry Barlutti, maybe jumped the gun on adding your stand to the list. Can you confirm if your stand is a TLS or TDS?

no, i meant the lashing around the toprail to attach my suspension to. I made the stand with a gate hing and 2x3 cheap spruce hung a hook from the hinge, then a climbing loop( not sure what its called ) the toprail is held by the loops then i lashed some rope to make loops for the biner to attach my whoopies. need to make a few further mods but it should be solid. so whatever I call it, it still holds my and the hammock above the rocks

honestly, if I had access to cheap bamboo, I would have liked to make the turtlelady . Then I see the Aluminium stand made by Bundy71 and think thats sweet . so with winter coming, lots of good projects for the shop hopefully by springtime, I will have enough stands and hammocks to put up all my visitors

Mom had surgery this morning so I'm spending the night. It's awesome knowing there's no more couch in my future!

Well first hang of the BB in the new stand. Not great with this mac, so I hope they are right side up and all that jazz. have to rig up something to keep the puppy warm and will try it out tonight

Barlutti, how about mounting a tepee shaped cover over a raised bed, say 12" above the ground, in the head end tripod? Bet it wouldn't take the puppy long to accept it.
