I am nogo for the weekend of the fifteenth , my wife is planning a birthday party for me invited a bunch of friends. I guess I will have to wait to meet all of you .

Thats how far it is in a car ride haha. I didnt know you were talking about a bike ride. Idk much around there thats that close for that. You can always stealth hang. I do it alot lol

That's what I do when I bicycle tour. That is how I use my hammock. The last year, I started taking my dog to the local park. We have a few miles of hiking trails. She loves it. It got me thinking that I might like to do some hiking/camping. I don't know much about that kind of stuff and was hoping to do a group hang so I can learn. But, since I don't drive a car, it has to be within a day's ride, no more than 80 miles, but hopefully closer to 60.
You fell in the same hole I did. Through several PMs to keep from thread hijacking... and didn't realize either. Can't accuse of us of not trying.
I'm hoping our weather next weekend will be great. Looks like fall weather all next week and then heating back up on the weekend...but that could hopefully change. If its hot, then we'll be making a trip to the lake if anyone wants to join us. We also will be going horseback riding...well, Dakota will be if anyone would like to do that also. I'm going to stay out of the kayak this time. That trip about did me in last time....should have picked the shorter run.
Since it is first come first serve, is anyone able to get there earlier so that we can book the spot? Hammike, are you going to be there earlier?
If we loose that site, make sure to stick a note or something at the entrance as to what site we should meet at.
