I might do this. On the map, is "Hidden Cove" the "Hidden Lake" you reference?

Not sure which map you're looking at.

Hidden Lake shows up on this map:

    http://lonestartrail.org/maps/hires/...tch_shaded.pdf

It is between the Four Notch Loop Trail and the LSHT, a bit north of the center of the rough cirlce formed by those two trails, just south the dotted red line.

It shows up here on Google Maps:

    http://maps.google.com/?ll=30.65829,-95.39942&z=17&t=h

That image is a couple of years old, there's a bit more open area there now.

FWIW, you can also see the track we took last time that took us into the meadow that we had to bushwhack out of.

Question: Where is the last place we KNOW that water will be?

Second Annual Texas Butt Bake>July 19-21>New Waverly, TX

Your vehicle at the trail head. And then the lake. There was only one other spot I remember, and I wouldn't count on that in July

The lake is really a pond so we need to keep in mind that it could be pretty low as well but there still should be water there..

True dat. I'll prolly pack most my water in.. Chance of no water in July isn't something I'd want to risk.
