It is possible that you might find a place to hang. But I sure wouldn't count on it. Are you planning on staying in Centralia, or are you going to push on farther the first day? Centralia has a secure place to leave the bike overnight. Not sure about anyplace else.

if i push on farther how will i pick up my gear that they carry in the buses? i was planning on stayin in centralia because of that delema. i dont want to risk it though. i know that tents are not popular here, but i can stick my bike in the tent to protect it.

You don't need to apologize for using a tent when it's appropriate.

There are several drop-off & pick-up points for luggage that are past Centralia. Check http://www.cascade.org/EandR/stp/stp_baggagesvc.cfm for specific locations.

if tour parents decide to let you go for this,,, plan-plan-plan,,, you can never plan to much,,, nobody wants to see anyone get hurt... i like to study the area I'm going before i go and i always let someone know where I'm going to be .... if you don't feel so confident of doing this on your own,, well then the best advice for that would be not to go......however,,,, the outdoors is a place of beauty and it's wonderful to get out and enjoy it,, but if new to it i would get someone with experience to tag along and pay attention to them i wish you both a happy and safe journey

Absolutely agreed. If you are at all questioning whether it is a good idea or whether you could do it, then the answer should be "no"
