    DIY tarp now has doors.

I'd like to thank gmcttr and PuckerFactor for the extra kick in the pants and encouragement to make this DIY tarp complete. Please follow along.

    My tarp as first "completed".

Now with extra tie outs, with doors.

    And the inside.

Needs a little more elbow room.
Add some side tie outs or possibly a tent pole mod over the ridgeline.

Just kidding, looks great. But this forum will always make you want to tweak one more thing.

I considered a DIY tarp, but scared myself off.

Actually, the tie-outs are going on this afternoon. That will satisfy this DIY craze for a while. Already planning next one. But I have to wait until Scott returns from vacation.

Thanks raiffnuke. Good storm blew through this morning that would have been a good test, but the tie-outs weren't done.

I think mmy favorite mod I've done to any of my gear is the tarp pole mod it just opens it right up feels like your in a giant tent. And on those rainy days it really pays off.
