i also got the jarbidge from AHE, i was hoping i could pack it with the hammock into a bishop bag, but because it doesn't compress very well, it won't all fit. that's fine for now, but the UQ takes up a ton of room. any advice for getting it to compress as much as possible? suggestions for compression bags to use with or replace the included the stuff sack?

what I have found that works for me is a old smaller dry bag that has a few small holes in it.(sat too close to the fire once) When I stuff it in i can get a roll or two then I force the air out few more rolls, repeat until it will get no smaller. I have been looking at getting one of the drybags with the built in vent but havent pulled the trigger. I have taken my jarbidge on two canoe trip and it packs as small or probably smaller than my PLUQ, which i compress the same way. I have a buddy that swears to the fact that you shouldn't compress everything seperatly, but put all compressable material in one compression sack. He says it saves space because you don't have all those individual oddly shaped sacks. I am not sure about that but I have been thinking of trying it some time and see how it works.

I keep mine in the included stuff sack; I then stow it on the bottom (inside) of my back pack. I use a Osprey Exos 58 and with it stuffed on the bottom I still have tones of room, and that is with the 3 season one.

I used my Jarbridge for the first time this past weekend and will get another chance this weekend. It was simple and warm! Great product at a great price (anniversary sale). I definitely recommend this even at regular price.
I was intimidated by an UQ and it moving around. The Jarbridge snugged right up to my WBBB and stayed put all night.

Being a jarbridge owner, I'm going to recommend that, of course. Compact, light, and easy to use. And it's cheap! How can you go wrong?! I hear good things about Leighlo, but i think AHE gives the most bang for the buck (especially if you catch one of the semi-annual sales!). Either way, I'm sure you'll be happy. On another note, if you're undecided, you may want to look at the New River. Full length, while more cumbersome for the ultralight hiker, provides the best coverage in cold weather and obviates the need for additional carry-along leg insulation.

I'm 5'8" and my jarbridge covers me from head to about halfway down my calf. The rest is easily kept warm with a piece of reflectix or a gossamer gear 1/8th inch pad. I've taken it down to about 45 and was very warm. I'm inclined to think the 30* rating is accurate.
