    Rip stop question

Ok, so I was at Wally World looking for some rip stop. I know that it has a checker board pattern where the reinforcement is but how do I tell whether it is 1.1 or 1.9 or..? It isn't marked on the bolt of fabric. The price is right, $1.50/yd.

    Thanks

if it isnt marked..as far as I know the only way is to weigh it yourself... but at that price I would be buying it no matter the weight the other thing to remember when you go to weigh it is that 1.1oz or 1.0oz is before any treating. so if it has a waterproof coating it will weigh more.

    It is safe to assume
Wally World rip stop is _not_ 1.1 oz. Hoever, beyond that all bets are off. Your only option is to weigh it yourself. If it really matters. If you absolutely positively _must_ have 1.1 you would be better off buying from one of our on-line vendors who know hammocks and out door gear. I'm not a gram weenie so the difference between 1.1 and 1.9 is not meaningful to me.
I may be slow... But I sure am gimpy.

What he said. If you must have 1.1 I would go to www.diygearsupply.com
    It'll be alright Friday!
