What about you? You have any interest in joining the "Nashville Backpackers" Meetup.com group? We have two hikes coming up in January and February. Long Hunter and Montgomery Bell State Parks.

I may be listing one for the Bridgestone/Firestone Wilderness. Just got to get some things worked out

    Here's the direct link--
    http://backpackers.meetup.com/166/

You could probably go to meetup.com and do a search for "nashville backpackers," I assume, but have never tried that myself.

Anyway, it's a good group and we do regular trips. You are welcome to join if you like. Doesn't cost anything (some meetup groups charge dues).

    Rain Man,
    Great design and work.
Interesting idea using that SB as a 'pod'. Wish they came in a different color, say like "camo" . (or white)

Did you have much ice inside?
Since I retired, some times I stay awake all day, some times all night.

Wow, Rain Man, someone else has an old Holubar sleeping bag! I bought my 5 deg. bag back in 1973 for $105. I don't know what it weights but it is heavy...and warm!!! They sold the company in 76 or so to North Face. Many fond memories with that bag.
