Oh, yeah. I remember him mentioning something before he shipped my tarp.
I think he told me he was going to Paris or something. Lucky *******.
Sounds like a great time. The tarp business must be doing well!

Raw, awesome tarp!
I was just about to order an Ultra and then i found this post. Now i'm stuck again. ;p
Now that you've had some time to use this tarp if you could order it again would you get exact same design or would you change it a little?
The only thing i can see that you can't do with your design is "bakers hut" setup but i think your last photo looks close enough.
Lastly i was curious about its weight, and is it nylon or spinn?
The only way I'll go with something different is if a more woods-friendly color becomes available. That's about the only change I'd make. Also, for holding up my Clark's net, I'd add an extra pair of plastic d-rings to the underside of the ridgeline tie-outs.
If you needed the tarp to close up more than it does in my pics, you might want Brian to essentially just add door panels to his MacCat Deluxe.
Mine is nylon. I weighed it in the stuffsack recently . . . but it's written down at home. I'll post later this week when I'm back there.
