    fine (and familiar!) looking hammocks!

I have found that a pad inbetween two layers of a double body has a tendency to "ride up" the side, particularly if you're moving between on the back and on the side.

The solution is to run stitching through the two bodies to create a pocket that contains the pad and keeps it centered. You can do that even at this point, although it is a little easier done before the endcaps go on.

That was a great video, very informative for a non bridge user such as myself.
Whats the story on that hammock stand? Did you just put extensions on an off the shelf stand or did you make it? I have a similar stand but the ends are much shorter.
    Great job.
    Good luck,

Yeah I might have gotten a little (A lot lot lot) inspiration from some of your videos.
I tried the pad Saturday evening and your right about sewing the two bodies together.
Thank you very much for all the help you have given me.

If you like that then your going to love the Mini Bridgezilla you and I talked about. It's going to match mine. Talk about a daddy son combo.

    Great job.
The stand is a store bought stand. I added an 8' joint of 3" fence post to extend the ends and get me higher. I use this to do all my back yard testing.

Good looking hammocks. Even with all of the guides and videos that the experts have produced on this site, it thats a lot of planning and doing to get a hammock you really enjoy sleeping. Are you going to add bug nets to your?
