Brandon, How much would it cost to swap out my 1.25" buckles with the new 1" buckles?

So it sounds like this problem is fixed by the new buckles that WB is now using or buying whoopie slings?

I used my Whoopie Slings twice and have gone back to the webbing. Reasons are: Weight savings using WS is minimal, maybe 5 ounces.
What if you lose a tree hugger? I use my stap also as the tree hugger
    Cinch buckles work, fast.
Predictions are risky, especially when it comes to the future.

I didn't made a move yet but definitly think I need to fix the situation before I made anymore damage.. btw I didn't post the "Second hang, no damage" thread but I was so paranoid that I checked the buckle maybe 40 times before going to bed. No mather what I hear, I still don't trust whoopies.. and would have to buy blindly and test myself someday. A few oz dont scare me on the shelter area.. (hammock, tarp) I lost a few pounds on my belly lately

I'll order a Superfly really soon (waiting on my brother decision to order 2x Superfly) Can you keep me 2 sets of 1" buckle for our 2 blackbirds ?

I'm curious what part you don't trust?

I'm around 230 lbs, so I bought 1/8" whoopies rather than the 7/64" and now kind of regret it. I mean, min. break strength of the 7/64" amsteel is 1400 lbs... that's a lot of twinkies! Still I gotta lose a lot of weight off my chassis before I start worrying about 1/64" worth of amsteel-diameter

Is it the constrictor/Chinese finger puzzle aspect? Can't speak for the others but I don't even bother with the slippery half-hitch safety knot that I think some folks use. It's not going anywhere...

Is it the tree strap/toggle system?

I know you said it doesn't matter what you read, so I'm not trying to convince you... just curious if it's anything in particular you don't trust...
