What happened to Tewa-underquilts??

My purchase was also over 45 days, so no help from Paypal. Please post if you find anything out as I would like to get my money back. Way bummed.

Heard from Mike this afternoon:

"this is the note i sent out to the others i screwed up..

it appears that many orders were sent to the wrong place, so now there's a boy scouts club using them... dunno how we didnt catch the oversight, as they were in seperate mail folders
i just finished one for rush ordering, and doing the second in a bit. i hope to make yours (LEE) the third.

frankly, i had to shut down the website to avoid more orders, as i got 36 all at once and then started working 60 hr weeks. chaos!
im going to defer back to the old way of filing orders, since this has obviously cost you the uq for your canadian trip.

Leaving for Canada, no quilt...or word from Mike. Very disappointed and dissatisfied. I placed my order almost 70 days ago, unacceptable. Please do not order from TeWa, there are plenty of other quality vendors out there that make great quilts and in a TIMELY fashion. You've been warned.

I have 2 te-wa UQs the freeze and breeze, both postive experiences. Accidents happen and i will order from him again if i need another quilt in a heartbeat! but it sucks your experience wasnt better! He makes great gear!

That is obviously very disappointing but stuff happens, and I don't think it is appropriate to tell others not to buy from him, they can make up their own minds based on yours and others experience.

In my last 3 orders from different vendors i have had issues with each one around small quality control issues. Sure I was annoyed at first but they all handled it in their own way which I was happy with, one of whom went above and beyond in my opinion. Life is not perfect, never has been never will be.

All vendors can stuff up occasionally. This seems unusual for Mike at TeWa, so I would just hope everything is ok for him - we don't know what is going on in others lives.

My underquilt from tewa just arrived. It does look to be very well made. Hope everyone else is also gets theirs.

Mine was ordered May 22. I am ready to look at this as a one-time anomaly and as far as I'm concerned this issue is closed.
