    that should work great on quilts, under quilts, & hammocks.
    ed speer says he uses a spray on DWR like that (from walmart) on his hammock in the winter to add not only protection from water, but also to increase wind proofness.

    Hey there is a shoe store based out of Charolette that has a great dwr. Rack Room Shoes, used to be assistant manager at one of the ones here and used to sell the heck out of it. We had a hat That we used to spray with it and a squirt bottle of water the we sprayed the hat with to demonstrate how well the spray worked. I believe it was called Rain and Stain Repellent, it was only $4.97 10 years ago.

    the walmart stuff is in the sporting goods department with the bug spray, brown can orange cap works the same as the scotch guard next to it for half the price.
