I have an older (6+years) Exped. Asym, and it only has the 2 suspension lines, and the 2 side tie out points.. reading about the SS, I get the impression that the newer models have additional attachment points for the SS, is this true?
If so, I'm assuming my old HH would be incompatible with the SS?
Incorrect.
The HH Supershelter (# 1) will fit your Expedition. Consult the Hennessy website for details and assembly videos.

The attachment points on mine are 2 mitten hooks that came with the ss. they just zip tie to each end of your hammock.
