I found this take down EMT conduit tripod Seems like a good thing to try out...I'm a little iffy about how it attaches at the top though

You'd be surprised. First you don't use fire to cook with a Dutch Oven. You lay smoldering coals on top and underneath. The number of coals depends on the size of the dutch oven.

A small fire is used for cooking, it's more efficient, large fires are for social gatherings and I hear SkyPainter's Exploding Goat.

Actually the exploding goat was to help get the fire going better. almost like adding oxygen to a fire the goat did almost as well.

He's never going to live it down. I'm actually looking forward to some roast goat

The current snow fall has me all pumped for next week.

    Hey Tim,

Hope all is well. Look forward to seeing you next week-end.

Was looking at the map of the Scout Reservation that you had previously posted. In relationship to the dining hall, (as a benchmark) where will we be located. If you go north directly in line from the dining hall to Scout pond, would we be primarily East of that line or West of that line ?

Just trying to get the lay of the land. No pun intended.

Looking forward to seeing you and all of our other hanging friends.

    All the best !

It also looks like there is a possibility for snow for next weekend. Which my boss might not like because I can't plow for him. I am actually suppose to go out in a hour or so to start cleaning up this storm. Should be out all night just to climb into the hammock tomorrow night to get down to -14* yeah buddy.

Gil here is a copy of a map that will show you the location of the hang as well as give you a better orientation.
