    Woot Hammock

Woot has the Yukon Outfitters hammocks on sale again! Bunch of different colors for the double hammock and a brown colored bug net hammock.

Never saw that rainfly before but i think its made out of the same stuff as the tarps at thesportsmansguide, if there are any seems they will need to be sealed but today a neew hanger just starting out can grab a hammock and fly set up for under $50.00,, not bad for a first setup.

Camped in the green bugnet style this weekend. Good hammock once you upgrade the suspension.

I'm still pretty new to hammock camping. Do you think this tarp will work well on my Hennessey expedition. The one that came with it doesn't provide enough coverage in heavy rain.

I've been pleased with my Yukon Outfitter hammocks. I have a regular hammock without a net (ENO Double Nest look-alike) and a hammock with a mosquito net. I've purchased the first hammock over a year ago and have spent a good bit of time in it. I purchased the hammock with the mosquito net earlier this spring.

I bought two more hammocks this morning (one of each) to give away as presents.

As stated by many others - one of the first things you will need to do is replace the hardware and suspension. Soft shackles and Whoopie Slings work great...

Thinking about getting one for a loner.
Does anyone know why the double is listed as weighing 5 lbs?
Granted it is a pretty big hammock but hopefully it's the suspension that can be changed a bit?

I have one of each (dbl and bug), with changed suspension and they do not weight much. I so use them as loaners.
