    Dutch Stingerz

I just ordered a couple of Dutch tarp stingerz, just wanted to ask a question to make sure I set this up correctly. There is no RL running the full length of the tarp underside correct? It just clips directly to the D ring on either end of my tarp and around the trees right?

That is how I have mine. Just off the ends. So far I like them but need to get them out on a real trip to truly know.
Easier to see and adjust than Tarp-Flyz. Had to put on my reading glasses to fool with them.

How well do you think they will work if I have MountainGoat make me some mesh tarp sleeves? Any reason they would not be compatable with the stingerz?

Just got my stingerz in the mail, I also ordered 25' of Lash-it, do you think that will be enough to rig the tarp with or do I need more?

That is how I use mine, and I can still use my python skin. They work really well and I find that my Superfly, with its cat cut RL, pitches much tighter than it did when i was using a CRL.

I have about 10 to 14 feet coming off of my ridge line ends and around 6 to 8 feet on my tarp corners. Plus I carry a couple of extra 6 foot hanks for porch mode if needed.

I think I am gonna go with 12' of lash-it from either end of the tarp, I can always order more if I need it. Thanks for the help, I will post again if I have any other thoughts or questions.

Hey, I know this has nothing to do with the thread, but I want to hang my tarp from the same suspension as my hammock to make it easier to get in the snakeskins, it always sags, but will tensioners fix that?
