No, no - you just go ahead and use that heavy hardware. Remember, I WILL have a lighter pack than you at our next hang. Every little bit helps me.

    **** heavy snaps!

LOL. You are going to be carrying that BB. Although it is a cadalliac of a hammock, your particular version is a little gravity challanged. I am not sure what you are going to do to get lighter than me. I picture you showing up with cuben gear or something! I wonder if brandon will make a cuban BB?

Oh, I'm not giving away all my secrets. Let's just say there are plans for another bird to nest before our next hang, and this one will be a chickadee, not a Ptarmigan. My "Cadillac" is going to be just that - the classic convertible that only comes out on nice, sunny days (or winter group campouts.) Once I climb out of the current hole I've dug, the next bird will be flying my way. And yes, Brandon would make a cuben BB. Not that that is what I'm doing, mind you. But I will be lighter than you, guaranteed.

I told Adam at Mt. Rogers that it was on - I don't think he believed me. We made pretty good friendships at Mt. Rogers, and before that on the site. It's all good.

The only thing I'm ashamed of is that I have to work for a living, and can't hang nearly as often as I want to.

Hey, it only requires 7 yards for a single, 10 for a double BB. Let's see, at 27.95/yd........ Hey, I can almost buy a Vertex at those prices.
