Whooooo Buddy - I got her in a hammock :)

After almost a year of talking about hammocks and the benefits and after making two DIY hammock, camping out in all kinds of weather and ordering the stuff to make more hammocks I finally got her into the hammock I made for her. It was only in the back yard but what I thought would be 2 minutes turned about to be about 20 . Now onto the last step in my plan to get my twin girls geared up to hang too. Im thinking just put them in my hennessy expedition zip and hang them right above me...they are just three.
Anyone else have kids that small hanging?
And yes she has her head covered...

You do realize what you are getting yourself in to I hope?

Her in hammock, twins need watching, you not in hammock? See where I'm going with this?

Joking aside, it looks like you are on your way to "family hanging". Have fun with that, and a pic of twins in hammock would be nice.

Yes, my daughter loves her hammock, and she is 2 years old. This was last fall, she was not even 2 then. Now she points to the stand and instists that I hang her hammock up for her and rock her for a while.

My biggest problem is that I need more trees ....unless i can borrow Bluenose Climbers Dome
...is it bad that I need as many hammocks for my family as BC's Venturer Company?

Y'all have got it going on with the family thing, that is want camping is all about. Camp and hike with your kids and you will never have to hunt for them.
Way to go Guys keep it going.

This weekend we were at cub camp. The cubs were out in tents and I was in my hammock. The other leaders were sleeping in the lodge...on the floor. I said "do you mind if I use your hammock instead of mine tonight?". She goes "You have my hammock here?". "uh...ya...did you want me to hang it in the lodge?"
So thats what I did. It wasn't perfect. The spacing of the rafters and the fact that I only had the one set of tree straps with me (that I needed outside on the tree) made setup difficult. I didnt get a perfect lay. She was in the hammock until about 3:30am and then moved to the floor. She was getting a cramp in her neck. The hammock wasnt quite flat enough, but she woke up with no back pain. Now I gotta get her geared up with a bug net and underquilt .... and a hammock setup for my step-daughter ...and step-son....and my youngest son...and I want a WBBB clone ... ive got some work ahead of me
