Where Did All These Folks Come From

My last overnight trip to the Sipsey in AL, I saw more hammocks/tarps than I did tents.

So instead of one tent with 2-3 people in it, we will have 3 hammocks with tarps blocking the sun. I'm afraid the environmentalists will find something wrong with this and try to get us banned.

I lurked and lurked for a looooonnnnnggg time.

Its better to keep your mouth shut and let people assume you're a fool than to open it and prove it.

I got so much from the forum and its members I thought joining up and giving a little something for the site to stay up was the least I could do.

So from one of the newbies I say thanks to the site owner, staff, and great members that have made the hammock learning curve bearable!

I know where I came from. I crawled out from under a rock that had me pinned for almost 5 years. It's called working to much to please the company (60 hours plus a week). I finally decided to get a life and enjoy my family when they cut me from the work force.
