    Website with animated knots/hitches.

    Hi everybody!
Stumbled upon this website wish is a great animated "pictorial" of how to tie different types of knots wish many of us use.

Great for ideas and great for beginners.
    Check it out.

If you have a smart phone, they have an app for that. At least they do for the iPad & iPhone.

For the record... the website has been widely known and referred to in other threads. This does not take away its value. It simply means you are not the first to find it.
I may be slow... But I sure am gimpy.

Didn't think I was the first to notice this site but since I haven't seen it before, and haven't found it threw this forum I just thought I should post it, and only that, with a very clear title for the post so it's easy to find.

I'm glad people already have benefited from this post and it's great that people uses the site since before - it just validates what I think of it.

    Have fun with it!

    I love that feeling.
I actually made a saftey harnes from 6 m rope with the help of to types of knots. 3/4 seperat loops of the harnes can break without one falling down - but it won't be comfortable.
But it was quite comfortable to sit in with some cloth around the loops around the thighs.

Why I did this? Well, I was bored and wanted to try out an idea I had in my head. Didn't have any instructions - that's the great part of it. It comfirmed that I can do just about what I like and need in the woods with the knot-knowledge I have.

I do miss some knots on the website though but most of them is there.
