I worked on expanding the workshop last night, assembling new work table, etc.
Not what you want to hear, but I'm ready to hit it hard again tonight.

I think the way the orders are coming in you might have to expand again soon! Congrats on the success of the DangerBird and with all the positive reviews coming in, I'm sure the orders will continue.

"I wonder if this means PapaSmurf will get to my order that much quicker??"

But seriously... Thanks for putting together such a great product! I'm salivating and I haven't even received mine yet. If the other waiting customers are like me, they've been hitting your status page 3 times a day to see if things have changed, even when we know better!

PapaSmurf, you do whatever you need to do. I will patiently wait for my DangerBird, because I know it is worth the wait. I am happy you are able to expand a little bit, I know you have a lot of work to do. There are a lot of DangerBird lovers out there. Just don't forget to take a break now and then to hang in your hammock and de-stress.

When it seems like the night will last forever
And there's nothing left to do but count the years
When the strings of my heart start to sever
And stones fall from my eyes instead of tears
I will walk alone by the black muddy river
And dream me a dream of my own

I took my dangerbird 72 out to lake Travis for 4 days. I took my wbbb as well for a friend to sleep in. I had no problems falling right to sleep in the db. I really like the size of this hammock it's very roomy. This hammock doesn't have a sweet spot it's got sweet spots it seemed every way I positioned myself in this thing was comfortable. On the last night I switched back to my wbbb so my friend could give the db a try. Now I love my black bird but it is hard to go from such a big open hammock to the black bird, it took a moment to fall back into the sweet spot. They are both great hammocks but I'm going to have to say the danger bird is my goto hammock. Thanks papa smurf.

Motorcycle and kayak camping really, it is a little big and heavy for backpacking.

What about the length Mattyg? Is it still gonna fit under my WBBB SuperFly?

I hung it under a 12 oes winter tarp with plenty of room. It fit under my Hennessy hex as well with plenty of room. I realize that both of those tarps are 12 foot and the hammock is 11 But it's ridge line is around 110" wich is a bit over 9 feet I believe the superfly is 132"/11' so you should have plenty of room if you go by the math. I don't own a superfly or know how much coverage you prefer past the end of your hammock but I think you would be ok and still be able to close the doors. My tarps are more for shade as I live in Texas and the sun is more of an issue than rain lately. I estimate that you should have between 8&10 inches on each side roughly. Hope that helps a little boomer.
