    Trying to make a decision

I'm spending too much time investigating hammocks. I think I need to just make a decision and get back outside again (I don't even own a tent right now).

I've been interested in the Clark North American since I first heard about camping hammocks. However, in reading these forums, I saw someone who thought people over 6' tall should go with the bigger size hammock. I'm a half inch over 6' and I weigh right around 200 lbs. Would the bigger sized hammock be advisable for me?

If so, that means the NX200 or the NX250. Of course, choosing between those two seems almost impossible without being able to get my hands on one. Can the NX250 still be used as a chair even with those hoops in it?

I'm leaning towards the NX200, just because I think it would be a wee-bit simpler than the NX250 to setup. Not sure that I care about the extra room that the poles on the 250 seem to offer, but I could be persuaded to go with the 250 if people really think it's the right thing to do.

    Thoughts?

    I know the feeling.

More lines with the NX200 and the hoops work great
    Go bigger
    Go NX250

    IMO

Mind you my opinion may be altered when I try out the TX200 that just arrived

I sent the following via email to Clark I had a Clark NA prior to this.

Thank you, thank you. I have just received my new NX-250 and I love it. Spending future profits on R and D may be wasted as I feel you have absolutely nailed it with the NX-250. I can toss and turn fully side to side to view the world around me with ease. I am able to lay off center flat, and also enjoy a very comfortable fetal position all without shoulder squeeze. I am 6' and 240 lbs. and I am ever going to enjoy the heck out of this hammock. Did I mention thank you.

    LOL!

Well, that pretty much says it all, doesn't it?

Sadly, it looks like it will be November before I can find a free weekend to get out, so I guess I'll have to wait a while to buy the hammock. In the meantime, what underquilt works well with a NX-250?
