    Opie's Eno

hey folks just received my Eno from Opie yesterday and could not wait to give it a test.went for a hike in my parents bush where i grew up and set up the hammock and had a coffee.i'm impressed!,this thing is huge and super comfy.all i have known was Hennesey's until now, and now question what all the hype is about being assymetrical i can lay as good or better in the double Eno.also,i used the slapstraps which have a bad name with some here and again i think they are fantastic.all this to say,i'm tickled with my new purchase and i beleive Opie still has one left if anyone is looking for a great hammock at a great price

I really liked the slap straps when I got my ENO, but I found it got old that they only allow so many attach points. They are kinda heavy and stretch alittle, but for some reason I am still partial to them as they are a unique idea.

It pains me to admit it, but this mass produced hammock from who knows where is the most comfortable hammock I own.

Yah I played with the beat up one a little and was thinking of some mods like that my self. I tried it for a couple minutes with some long screws through the upper air ports to lift the pot up higher for more air flow and room for more wood. may also cut an upper opening for feeding wood in at the top of the fire. Heck for the price it will be a good one to chop up and play with different set ups. I think I am getting a small TI pot for Christmas, I may cut one of the burners down to just fit inside the pot and use it as a mini burner.

    Fire is fun

That looks like a cool area to hang right by the stream, What tarp is that?
