Still 50/50, but packed and ready to go...
So you looking at the same place, just pushing it back a weekend? I could be up for that. Weather depending!

Well I contacted the guys from Bushcraft and it looks like they're going full speed ahead . The northern boys feel rain is very unlikely .

I am still planning on being there. Unless everyone else bails out

It most always rains at MI hangs, so it is just keeping the tradition.

I have a 12X16 heavy poly tarp that we can rig up as a rain cover and have a fire at the edge.

It can be just as much fun as any other camp out

I seldom put full faith in the weather predictions, only in my weather rock

Lots of encouragement here! I'll try and make up my mind soon. I just don't know what the heck to pack! Rain pants? Warm snow pants (somewhat waterproof)? Ugh

BCUSA guys are still committed so I am too . TZ I appreciate your thoughts . If worse came to worse we could retreat to a position a little closer to the trucks .

Straight up rain sucks at 35°, but testing gear in freezing rain could be fun! Just set up in proch mode and hang out during the rain Saturday.

    Bring it all,
Leave it in the truck, carry what you need.

I'll admit I got pretty discouraged last night for some reason...pack felt a lot heavier than usual, didn't ride well, ran out of room. Not sure what was going on. The larger Jetboil Sumo cup I packed for melting snow really eats up space.

Will repack tonight and see what happens, maybe even try my smaller pack. Also might need to use a compression sack for my 15° bag...it's very light but bulky as hell.
