    Help the NOOB!

So today I received my first UQ, a wilderness logic 3/4 length and it has the shock cord running the length of it...so here's the question...how do i suspend it under the hammock. Keep in mind I don't have a whipped end mass on the ends of the hammock

A small s clip is a popular option... Carabiner works but is extra weight... Pictures would help, or at least what kind of hammock it is going on...

It is a Byer Traveler Lite. Its just a simple gathered end hammock with whoopies going through the end channels

+1 for the biner, or you could make triangle thingies with some small diameter rope and thread it onto your whoopies. You could also just put 2 small prussic loops on the ridgeline and hook each side up that way.

Dutch sells cool little clips... But sometimes you just want to hang now... I would make some loops that got larksheaded onto the bottom of the whoopie and then clip the biner into that... Or just clip it into the bottom loop of the whoopie if there is enough room for that... For a cheap but heavy alternative to get you going... Walmart has the 150# rating carabiners for #1 that are great things..

Couldn't you just get a few of those keychain biners, then? Not like it needs to support real weight. And everyone seems to have 4 of those mixed and matched lying in the junk drawer. Or am I missing something?

    Or these mini biners?
