Does the group site have picnic tables? Shelters of any sort?

The group site does have picnic tables... two or three I think. I can't remember if they are moveable but I'll find out.

No shelter for the group site, but there again, a large group tarp would be a really good idea. If we can move the picnic tables, maybe we can line them up under the big tarp. We should have a separate tarp for the Hammock Demo at the festival (large tarp) & a really large tarp for the group site.
If no one is using the pavilion, we can hang out there some I believe. It's only a stones throw from the group site.They do ask that there be no eating in the pavilion though. Don't want the mice & other critters to start hanging out there

Also, the Camp Store is right there. We share the parking area w/ it. They have quite a few odd & ends, including shirts, hats, can foods & ice cream

Oh, there is a large, rock fire pit in the group site. That reminds me... we will need to bring fire wood. I can bring a fair amount.

I'm still new to all of this. My daughter has been wanting to see the ponies in the Highlands; she's a senior at King College in Bristol. I may try to make it up for the day and check out some rides, er, I mean hammocks. Won't be staying overnight but may make a good day trip out of it. I'll let you know as time draws near. Think that ride idea might be a winner.

Looks like we have 19 campers at this point. That's not counting those who are still in question.
Of course, we know how these things always go... we'll probably lose a few & gain a few.

Is anyone coming from the Mid-Atlanic region for this? Carpooling may be the push I need to get on down to see the ponies again.

Doesn't look like I'll be able to make it down. I'll be away 4 days the week before and I better work that weekend if I want to eat that week.
