I have not tried one, but I think it's an awesome idea. I wish I could speak for the quality of it. Last thing you want is that to back-pressure in your hammock. At least it is the last thing that I want.
You're not alone there mate. Reckon it's a 'suck em and see'. Watch this space
Before you buy it first try laying on your side and urinating. I tried to and failed at even partially voiding my bladder. I don't think our bodies are designed for effectively doing it on our sides. I think we men need the weight of our entrails to put pressure on our bladders to offer an assist. So, for me, its best to swing my legs out, stand up and do my business and then get back in the hammock. I can do it in a semi-conscious state, and when back in the hammock I usually can go right back to sleep. That is what is most important to me...getting back to sleep. Doing it in the hammock is too waking for me. Mainly the worry of spillage.

That's a fair point Tony. Reckon I'll do that. Never had a problem as a child but things have changed since then!
If getting out and going is just way beyond your energy level, spin you 'mock 90 and your body 180. Unzip and let rip. Just be sure your boots are parked at the head end of the 'mock...and be careful where you step in the morning...

You are correct. Everyone is different in unique and wonderful ways. Just suggesting he try it before buying.Sorry,,,don't agree with this.

I doubt there is any back pressure. The accordion pleats look like a space saving device. As long as you don't squash the container it should be stable pressure wise. But I think a large mouth jar like sports drinks come in would be cheaper and just as easy to use. Not as space saving but that's about it.
I may be slow... But I sure am gimpy.
