Lake Arrowhead and Big Bear will low into the mid-20's during winter. Some wil say that 20* would be fine, some say it's on the bubble, and others will say switch to a winter UQ and keep the TQ. My current set up is also 3-season (WB Mamba and Yeti), I may pull the trigger on a winter yeti versus a full length UQ like incubator 0*.

I live in Carlsbad, CA, so there's no 'go-outside-and-test' options for winter temps.

That's great to know! I think I'd be fine with my setup in mid 20's. Wearing a good base layer, and maybe throw a pad in between the layers of my hammo...oh, wait, mine is only a single layer. Guess I really DO need to upgrade to a WBBB. :-D

Nice! Totally not what I was expecting. Thanks for posting that.

That's the Superfly, right? Is that the camo, or the multicam?

Contrary to popular belief, some parts of SoCal DO see some weather
I may be dumb, but at least I'm ugly!

I've done so much, with so little, for so long, now I can do anything with nothing.

It's not peer pressure, it's just your turn.

Yes it is a Superfly that is camo. This is only about an hour away from L.A and San Diego.

Where else in the world can you be in snow and go surfing on the same day! (Shhhhhh. Don't tell everyone! We have enough traffic around here!)

Awesome. I got the position, but they're going to keep me in NY to see how it goes. Have a feeling I'll be moving to LA in May or June.

I've got my eye on the Superfly in camo. Just ordered the XLC in multicam. I like the multicam, but a 3 pound tarp? No thanks!

This was last Feb. here in Big Bear. It got down to 8*.

It's a Warbonnet Blackbird 1.1 dl. It's probably the angle of the camera that makes it look huge.
