I dunno...how do they stack up against the palmetto bugs in FL? Or swarms of noseeums for that matter? Bugs are one thing we do well here in the South...

That was my motovation for my headnet stuff sack. Now I will have a bugnet that I can use when I really need it.

I plan on leaving either head or foot end open to slide my pad into. Does anyone have any comments about my plan to put thin webbing around the oter edges and use it to secure loops too?

I dunno, man...you ever had a couple of the 2+" whoppers dive-bomb you? I have, and I have to say at the time I wasn't very concerned with other biting bugs!
